In 1961, Encraft's founder DC Jain started extruding HDPE strips for cane furniture and then ventured into PVC pipes, based on a foundation of design, quality, and attention to detail. The company carried on to expand into flexible PVC extrusion and developed patented magnetic sealing systems used by the refrigeration industry. It is today a key supplier to well-known household names like Samsung, Godrej and LG. DC Jain played a key part in developing drip irrigation systems and developed a technology for water hand pumps to ensure water is accessible to everyone.

Encraft has achieved many further milestones following his vision and today we honor his legacy by continuing the tradition he established – one of the highest standards and true artistry.

He emphasized on product quality, precision and exquisiteness while stressing upon process accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness. Though he was firm in his management, he treated his employees with fairness and benevolence. He was a true patriot and he always advised the youngsters to serve their own country.

His penchant for "Wheels and Wings" made him adventurous all through his life and his indomitable spirit always rose to the occasion and facilitated him to lead from the front. His personality had all the nuances of a great human being. He valued friendship and showed great respect, love, and concern towards humanity.

The many lives he had touched, and the great man that he had become. "The best way to pay tribute to this "Karma Yogi", is to emulate his ideals and work toward realizing his dreams. Let his vision, "TO MAKE EVERY MAN A SUCCESS AND NO MAN A FAILURE," inspire us to follow in his footsteps as we commit ourselves to move forward undeterred in the pursuit of better tomorrow.

Progress for me has never been a dream. It has always been a distant reality and once one milestone is achieved, there is always another one waiting to be crossed. It is with this belief and detailed technical know-how, expertise and specialized knowledge I have entered into uPVC fenestration market in India. I have carried extensive research across Europe to evaluate companies that had best practices and most innovative products.

In 2006, we have teamed up with Halo Systems in the UK which has been in UPVC fenestration since 1979 supplying innovative products designed by Robert Hoellrigl to the market. ENCRAFT was born! ENCRAFT was incepted with the most up to date equipment and the systems were specifically designed with the needs of the Indian consumer and the Indian climate in mind.

Encraft became a prominent name in uPVC business segment, but like every entrepreneur sticks to their dream, I always wanted to push my company to more prosperous milestones. More than being a global player, I always perceived my company as a unit that could make a difference with its quality and competitively priced products.

Overcoming challenge after challenge with the support of my brilliant team, I have been successful in bringing Encraft to a new milestone of global recognition.

The journey of Encraft is never ending. However, with the support of my team, clients and shareholders, I am confident that the company will continue to scale milestones of excellence for years to come.
